National NAACP President Ben Jealous and NC NAACP President William Barber collaborated on an op-ed that has been published in the Fayetteville Observer-Times. They point out that the past decade, 880,000 African Americans died because they lacked health insurance.

With an upsurge in racism/hate crimes, criminalization of young black males, insensitivity to the poor, educational genocide, and the moral/economic cost of a war, we must STAND together now like never before.'
